by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers
The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have traded goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for three draft picks – a second-round pick (45th overall) and fourth-round pick (117th overall) in this weekend’s 2012 NHL Entry Draft, as well as a fourth round selection in the 2013 draft that originally belonged to Phoenix, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.

Bobrovsky signed with the Flyers as a free agent on May 6, 2010.  He appeared in 54 games during his rookie season, posting a record of 28-13-8 with a 2.59 GAA and a .915 save percentage.  This past year, Bobrovsky had a record of 14-10-2 with a 3.02 GAA and .899 save percentage in 29 appearances.
