Flyers acquire conditional 7th round pick from Devils

The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired a conditional seventh-round pick in either the 2017 or 2018 NHL Entry Draft from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for forward Petr Straka, according to general manager Ron Hextall.
Straka, 24 (6/15/1992), signed a one-year contract extension with the Flyers in the offseason. He previously signed a three-year entry-level contract in 2013.

Straka appeared in 192 games for the Adirondack/Lehigh Valley Phantoms over three seasons, recording 42 goals and 46 assists for 88 points. He also appeared in three games for the Flyers during the 2014-15 season, registering two assists.
Straka was originally a second-round selection (55th overall) of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
