by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers

Immediately following the 3 p.m. NHL trade deadline, Flyers GM Paul Holmgren announced that the club has acquired a conditional 3rd-round draft pick in 2014 from the Boston Bruins in exchange for defenseman Andrej Meszaros.

As it stands currently, the Flyers have six picks in the seven rounds of this year's draft.

The Philadelphia Flyers and Wells Fargo Center will host the NHL Entry Draft in 2014 for the first time in club history on June 27-28.

Meszaros goes to the Bruins after spending parts of four seasons with the Flyers. He has 17 points (5g-12a) in 38 regular season games this year, and recorded 20 goals and 56 assists for 76 points in 192 regular season games, as well as six points (2g-4a) in 13 Stanley Cup Playoff games with the Flyers.
