The Flyers return home after earning five of eight points on their road trip, going 2-1-1, and now open up a three-game homestand in the span of six days… The Flyers own a 19-10-7 record on home ice, and have earned a point in eight of their last 10 home games, going 7-2-1… The Flyers sit in the eighth and final wild card position in the East, and are tied with but have a game in hand on Detroit, who plays the Buffalo Sabres tonight… The Flyers have four of their last eight games against teams sitting in playoff position, not including a head-to-head matchup with the Red Wings at Detroit on Apr. 6… Sean Couturier has a four game point streak with a goal and three assists in that span… He has also recorded a point in nine of his last 11 games, posting 10 points (1g-9a).
Facing off against the Jets marks the final Western Conference team the Flyers will face this season… They are 13-11-3 against the West but have 10 of the 13 victories against Central Division opponents, going 10-3-0, and have out-scored them 39-28, while also winning their last six meetings against the Central… Against the Jets, the Flyers shut the door in the first meeting at Winnipeg, 3-0 on Nov. 7, and posted two of the three goals on the power-play… The Flyers have won four straight against the Jets and have earned points in their last five games, going 4-0-1, with their last loss coming on Nov. 15, 2013… Since the Jets returned to Winnipeg, the Flyers own a 7-3-2 record in 12 meetings.

Simmonds leads the Flyers in overall scoring with 25 goals, 15 of them coming at home, and is third on the team with 51 points… He is one of only two Flyers to have appeared in all 74 games this season (Raffl)… Simmonds also has eight points (2g-6a) in his last 11 games… The Flyers own a 16-2-1 record when Simmonds records a goal… Simmonds has five goals and nine points in 15 career games against the Jets, including a goal in the first meeting of the year.
