FIVE THINGS: Flyers at Winnipeg Jets

The Flyers play the final game in their five-day, three-game road trip tonight in Winnipeg and look for their fourth straight victory… During their three-game streak, the Flyers have out-scored the opposition 11 to 3 as the combination of Ray Emery and Steve Mason have stopped 75 of 78 shots… The Flyers are also unbeaten in regulation in their last five  road games, going 4-0-1 in that span and outscoring their opponent 14 to 5… They have scored a goal on the power-play in five of those games, including the last three road games, going 5-for-12 on the man-advantage… The Flyers will play 10 of their next 15 games on the road, and 17 of their next 25 games away from the Wells Fargo Center.

The Jets come into tonight's game also on a three-game winning streak in which their last two games were decided by a shootout… The Jets have also won their last three games at home by a combined score of 14 to 6... 11 of the Jets 20 games have been decided by one goal, however only four of those 11 games have been on home-ice… Captain Andrew Ladd leads the team at home with 13 of his 17 points (5g-8a) coming at the MTS Centre… Blake Wheeler has 18 career points against the Flyers in 21 games - 17 of which are assists.

This is the first of two meetings against the Jets - since their return to the NHL in 2011-12, the Flyers are 3-3-1 against the Jets and 2-2-0 in Winnipeg… The Flyers won the season series last year (2-1-0) as the two teams combined for 18 goals in the three games…  Jakub Voracek and Blake Wheeler each led their team in the season series with five points (all assists) in the three meetings… Steve Mason is a perfect 2-0-0 in two career starts against Winnipeg, including one shutout and a 0.43 GAA… Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien leads the team and is sixth in the NHL in time-on-ice per-game, averaging 26:20… 39 of the Jets 49 goals this season have come on 5-on-5…

4. Player to watch FLYERS: Brayden Schenn - (LW) #10
Schenn comes into tonight's game as the Flyers leading scorer with 12 points (6g-6a) and the team's hottest player - he has points in three straight games and posted back-to-back multiple-point games, including scoring both goals in the Flyers' 2-1 win at Pittsburgh on Wednesday… Schenn has scored on each of his last three shots on goal and recorded at least a point in 10 of his 18 games so far this season… Against Winnipeg, Schenn has four goals and five points in six career games.

5. Player to watch JETS: Bryan Little - (C) #18
Little is the Jets hottest player as of late, recording points in three straight games, and four of the Jets' last five games with seven points (4g-3a) and three multi-point games… Little is also the Jets leading scorer with 11 goals and 18 points - his 11 goals are T-4 in the NHL… Against the Flyers, Little has six goals and six assists for 12 points in 21 career games.
