The Flyers hit the road for a 12-day, six-game road trip, taking them through Western Canada, the Southwest and back East to Newark, NJ for a total of 6,689 miles by air and bus… The Flyers have dropped their last five games on the road, going 0-3-2… The Flyers penalty kill has given up a goal in the last four road games (14-for-19)… Not only will the Flyers play six straight on the road, they will play eight of their next 10 games away from the Wells Fargo Center.

This is the second and final meeting of the year against the Oilers and first time the two teams have met twice in one season since 2000-01 season… This is the just the fourth time in the last 10 years that the Flyers have traveled to Edmonton - they have lost the last three meetings and have not won since the 2000-01 season… Mark Streit led the Flyers with two assists and four different Flyers scored in the first meeting of the season, a 4-2 win on Nov. 9… Ilya Bryzgalov will face his former team for the first time, since becoming a member of the Edmonton Oilers… Overall, the Flyers have an 8-17-6 record at Edmonton and a 30-28-8-0 overall mark against the Oilers.

4. Player to watch FLYERS: Jakub Voracek - (RW) #93
Voracek is currently riding a career-high eight-game point streak - two better than his previous high (six-games)… He has six goals and 13 points during this streak, including five assists in his last three games… Against the Oilers, Voracek has seven assists and eight points in 14 career games.

5. Player to watch OILERS: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - (C) #93
Nugent-Hopkins leads the Oilers in assists (20) and is tied for third on the team in scoring with 29 points this season… He has four points (1g-3a) in his last four games… This is just his second game against the Flyers in his career, went scoreless in his first game… Nugent-Hopkins was the 1st overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
