The Flyers sit in the third and final playoff position in the Metropolitan Division with 36 points, one point ahead of Carolina & New Jersey… Tonight is the back end of the home-and-home series with the Blue Jackets after the Flyers scored five third-period goals to earn a 5-4 win on Thursday in Philadelphia… The Flyers have won the second game in five of their last six home-and-home series dating back to 2010, with four of the victories decided by a one goal margin… The Flyers visit the Columbus Blue Jackets for the first time in over three years (since Oct. 25, 2010) and just the third time in the last eight years… The Flyers lost the last two meetings at Columbus and overall are 2-2-2 in six games in Columbus since the team began play in 2000.

The Flyers come into tonight's game having earned points in their last four games, going 3-0-1, and at least one point in the standings in six of their last eight games, going 4-2-2, however they have dropped their last four on the road, going 0-2-2… They have recorded four goals or more in their last three games overall… Four of the last six Flyers games have been decided by one goal… Columbus has dropped three straight games, all of which were one-goal games and have had five of their last six games decided by a single goal… Four different Blue Jackets scored in the loss for Columbus, while Claude Giroux factored into four of the five goals, including scoring the game-tying and game-winning goals in the third period.

Giroux posted a pair of goals and assists for a four-point night in the Flyers' 5-4 win over Columbus on Thursday, including the game-tying and game-winning goals… Giroux currently has points in five straight games, including three multi-points games, and averages two points-per-game in that stretch with four goals and six points in the five-game span… He leads the Flyers with four game-winning goals, as well as points (31) and assists (21)… He ranks second on the team in time-on-ice (21:07).
5. Player to watch BLUE JACKETS: Nick Foligno - (LW) #71
Foligno is tied for second on the team in goals (10) and third on Columbus in points (19)… He posted a goal in the Blue Jackets loss on Thursday and has points in two straight games… He also has five of his 10 goals on the season in his last 10 games… In 17 games against the Flyers, Foligno has 10 points, nine of them are goals.
