Simon Gagne scoring his first goal as a Flyer in over two years earned over 53 percent of the fans vote to advance to the Final Round of the Flyers Play of the Year Tournament.
In the highest voter turnout of the tournament, Gagne's goal in his first game back since being required collected over 1,700 votes to beat out Kimmo Timonen's last second goal to force overtime, which earned over 1,500 votes. Combined, the two highlights totaled well over 3,000 votes by fans.
