FAN VOTE: Best Hit of 2013-14

by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers

POLLS ARE OPEN: The first two slots of the Final Four in the 2013-14 Highlight of the Year Tournament are set  (view updated bracket above). This week's vote determines the third spot and sets up a semifinal match-up against Claude Giroux -- The Best Hit of 2013-14.

Zac Rinaldo faces off against himself after earning separate victories in the Best Hit category.

HIGHLIGHT #1: Rinaldo lines up former Flyer, and teammate, Dan Carcillo six minutes into the second period in an early March battle after the Winter Olympic break. The Flyers would go on to take the game, 4-2, but both Carcillo and Rinaldo would receive two minutes for unsportsmanlike and a 10 minute game misconducts.

In his second game back from injury, Rinaldo lays a hit on 6'2'', 210-lb Kings' forward Kyle Clifford, with just over two minutes into the opening period. The Flyers would go on to take the game, 2-0, and earn their fourth victory out of five games in the last nine years in LA (4-0-1).

Watch each highlight and submit your vote below. The polls close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, but fans can vote an unlimited amount of times during the week.
