The Official Site of the Philadelphia Flyers

by Anthony SanFilippo / Philadelphia Flyers

Bits and pieces of the Flyers pre-season daily schedule have been filtering out in the public for about a month now and I am getting a lot of questions about it both on Twitter and via email.

So, here it is, day-by-day.

Training Camp officially opens at the Wells Fargo Center on Sept. 12 and will be in the Center through Sept. 14. All three practices will be free and open to the public.

The Flyers will begin training camp at the Wells Fargo Center while renovations are completed to the locker room and office area of the Skate Zone.

The Flyers first preseason game will be Sept. 15 in London, Ontario against the Toronto Maple Leafs at 6 p.m.

On Monday, Sept. 16 the Flyers will play two preseason games in split-squad fashion. Half the team will be in Toronto to play the Leafs again at 7 p.m. while the other half will play host to the Capitals at the Wells Fargo Center.

The New York Rangers will visit the Flyers in preseason action at Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Wednesday Sept. 18 is an off day and then the Flyers will take training camp on the road as it heads to Lake Placid, N.Y. for four days from Sept. 19-22.

The team returns to practice on the Phantoms rink at Skate Zone on Sept. 23 before hosting the New Jersey Devils in preseason action at Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. Sept. 24.

Practice is back on the Phantoms rink on Sept. 25 before the Flyers hit the road for their final two preseason games – Sept. 26 at New Jersey and Sept. 27 at Washington.

Following a day off Sept. 28, the Flyers will have three days of practice on their usual Flyers ice at the Skate Zone in Voorhees from Sept. 29 through Oct. 1 before opening the regular season at home against Toronto on Oct. 2 at Wells Fargo Center.
