CSN to film 'Meet The Flyers' on Sat., Sept. 20

Comcast SportsNet, the home of the Philadelphia Flyers, has complete coverage of the 2014 Flyers Training camp including four preseason broadcasts, a live taping of “Meet the Flyers” and extensive on-air and online coverage.

Comcast SportsNet’s Emmy-Award winning news team will have extensive daily coverage of Flyers Training Camp in the network’s signature news program, “SportsNet Central.” In addition Flyers’ players, coaches and front office personnel will join “Philly Sports Talk” to discuss the latest news on the team throughout the preseason. Fans can interact with every show on Twitter by using the hashtag #FlyersTalk.

“Meet The Flyers” is a one-hour television special on Comcast SportsNet that offers fans a sneak preview of the upcoming season and allows fans to get to know the 2014-15 Philadelphia Flyers. The show will be taped in front of a live studio audience on Saturday, September 20 at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ.

“Meet The Flyers,” will be hosted by Comcast SportsNet’s Jim Jackson, alongside Keith Jones, Bill Clement and the newest member of the Flyers broadcast team, former Flyers defenseman Chris Therien.

Key members of the 2014-15 Flyers will be interviewed including Claude Giroux, Zac Rinaldo, Jakub Voracek, coach Craig Berube, GM Ron Hextall, and front office staff including Flyers President Paul Holmgren and Chairman Ed Snider.

“Meet The Flyers” will debut on the Comcast Network on Thursday, September 25 at 9:30 p.m., and replay on the following dates and times:
