Couturier Inks Entry Level Deal

by Staff Writer / Philadelphia Flyers
The Flyers announced today that they have signed 6'4'', 200-pound forward Sean Couturier to an entry-level contract according to club general manager Paul Holmgren.

He made his NHL preseason debut at Toronto on Tuesday, posting a goal and an assist in 17:06 of time on ice.

Couturier (19, 12/07/92) was the Flyers' first round pick (8th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. The pick was acquired from the Blue Jackets as part of the trade that saw Jeff Carter go to Columbus in exchange for forward Jake Voracek.
