Comcast SportsNet Covers Flyers During Olympic Break

(Philadelphia, PA) – Comcast SportsNet, the leader in local sports coverage, announced comprehensive coverage of the Philadelphia Flyers during the Olympic Break, including airing four instant classic games, two feature programs and exclusive behind-the-scenes access of the Flyers Postgame Live crew.

Flyers Instant Classic Games
Comcast SportsNet will replay classic games from this past season, including the thrilling 2010 Bridgestone Winter Classic game featuring the Philadelphia Flyers and the Boston Bruins.  Other games include Eastern Conference rivals the New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Hungry for Hockey
Comcast SportsNet satisfies Flyers fans’ hunger for news on the team throughout the Olympic break with two Hungry for Hockey special presentations. Host Gregg Murphy, along with John Boruk and Flyers Postgame Live analyst Al Morganti break down the Flyers season on Thursday, February 18 at 6:30 p.m. On Thursday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. the panel will be live to answer questions from fans via and social media platforms Twitter and Facebook.
Inside Access
Comcast SportsNet will also air a special behind the scenes look at the Flyers Pre and Postgame Live crew.  Inside Access: Flyers PGL Crew will air on Wednesday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. Inside Access: Flyers PGL Crew provides viewers the opportunity to see what goes on behind the lens including listening in on pre show meetings, a bird’s eye view of the crew watching the games, witnessing what happens in the newsroom during a game and other intriguing insider moments.
Comcast SportsNet’s Flyers Insider, Tim Panaccio, will keep fans informed on their favorite players throughout the Olympic Break.  Panaccio will host live chats when members of the Flyers play for their respective countries, plus he’ll have exclusive reports on his blog, Panotch’s Pucks.
