Comcast-Spectacor, the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm, will host the Liberty Bell Games, an elite level showcase of youth ice hockey, to let hockey ring throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region when the 2010 Liberty Bell Games comes to the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ, from Friday, June 11 through Sunday, June 13.

“Comcast-Spectacor is proud to sponsor one of youth hockey’s premiere showcase events,” said Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko. “This is a terrific opportunity for us to help grow the sport of hockey and lend a hand in supporting the next generation of players in our game.”
The Liberty Bell Games feature five teams consisting of 16-18 players per roster ranging in age from 15-17, competing in a three-day tournament. The prestigious tournament attracts scouts and coaches from around the world to see firsthand the top area hockey prospects.
Event festivities also include block parties, symposiums with guest speakers, and other fan friendly activities. Guest speakers include College Hockey and former Director of NHLPA Paul Kelly, Ontario Hockey League’s Joe Birch, USHL’s Bob Thornton, and Milton Academy’s Paul Cannata, all on Saturday, June 12.
