Head coach Peter Laviolette and the Philadelphia Flyers coaching staff will prepare Team Blueliners and Team Slugs for the upcoming Brad Fox Memorial Hockey Game on Friday, November 16, beginning at 4:15 p.m. The coaches will run the men through drills that they use during a typical Flyers practice.
Practice will take place at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ.
The late Officer Fox, who was killed in the line of duty, was a lifelong Flyers fan and hockey player who played for both of the teams taking each other on in his honor to raise money for his family.
Both teams and their families will mingle with the Flyers coaching staff over pizza following the on-ice practice, courtesy of Papa Johns.
The Brad Fox Memorial Hockey Game will take place at the Class of 1923 Ice Rink at the University of Pennsylvania on November 24, beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets to the game are $10; all proceeds will go to the Fox family.
