Building Hope for Kids Update

We are just a few days away from the Building Hope for Kids reveal for Syrianna and her family! The transformation of the house is incredible to witness and we are excited to see the final touches over the next few days.
As Fastrack Construction completes the house renovations, the Flyers Wives are adding their own special touches throughout the house with all new furniture and décor. We are grateful to Bob's Discount Furniture for providing new furniture for every room in the house. Last month, the Flyers Wives worked with the staff at Bob's Discount Furniture in Cherry Hill, NJ to select the furniture and décor that would work best for the house. After two hours of shopping, the Flyers Wives decided on the final styles, color and décor of the pieces that will complete the new living room, dining room, bedrooms and basement in the home.

In addition to the support received from many of our community partners, the funds raised from the Quilt Raffle each year at the Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival and the proceeds from the cancer awareness jersey auction, allow for any extra costs associated with the design and décor aspects of the renovation.
Each room in the house had a group of wives responsible for designing and decorating the space. They envisioned everything from the layout and theme of each room, to the paint color, lighting and special décor.

On Wednesday, Syrianna and her family were relocated from their home so that all final touch-ups and renovations could be completed in time for the reveal on Sunday, February 12th. Once the family left the house, the floors were installed, walls were painted and Bob's Discount Furniture arrived with the new furniture. Staff from Bob's Discount Furniture stayed at the house and helped assemble and place the items is each room. While that was going on, the Wives decorated each room with new bedding, lighting, dishware and other home accessories. Every room in the house now has a special, personal touch by the Flyers Wives!

As everything finally comes together and the construction is complete, we are so excited to share in the special moment when Syrianna and her family see their new home for the first time on Sunday. Their home has gone through an extensive transformation and is almost unrecognizable on the inside. Michael's Way and Fastrack Construction have done an incredible job renovating and improving the house so that it is more functional and comfortable for the family. We must give special thanks to Bob's Discount Furniture, Chickie's & Pete's, ACME, UPS, the Flyers Wives and everyone involved for their outstanding support in making Building Hope for Kids so successful, and in turn, creating a necessary and lasting memory for Syrianna and her family.
