7 THINGS TO KNOW: Flyers Charities Carnival

Check out some of the fun things to do at the Flyers Carnival on November 6th.

The 40th Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival is less than a week away! We are excited to have moved the Carnival to the fall and hope that Flyers fans of all ages will join us next Sunday for a fun-filled family day with all of your favorite players.

This is a very special year for the Flyers family with it being the team's 50th season and the Carnival's 40th event. Year after year, Flyers fans flock to the arena to see their favorite guys in orange and black in a different light and a more personal atmosphere. There is a ton of things to do - get autographs, have your picture taken with your favorite player, ride the Ferris Wheel and Carousel and play typical, fun Carnival games. It's a great day for a great cause!

Proceeds from the Carnival and other Flyers Charities events help support hundreds of worthwhile charities in the Philadelphia Region. It's our way of giving back and making your cause - our cause.

Tickets are still available, and can also be purchased the day of at our Box Office. In the meantime, check out the top seven things to look for on Sunday, November 6th...

1. The Phantoms will be There

Meet the future of the Flyers! The Philadelphia Flyers' AHL affiliate the Lehigh Valley Phantoms will be at the Carnival from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Fans can get autographs and interact with players during the Early Admission time slot. Think you can take them in Carnival game? Fans can also play Carnival style games with the Phantoms on the Main Concourse. Player will be in pairs throughout the event. Autographs for two (2) players is $20 and carnival games are $10 with their autograph.

2. You Can get an Autograph and Photograph from the Same Player

Limited Combo Booths, Autograph and Photograph sessions are available. Players included in Combo Booths are; Claude Giroux, Jakub Voracek, Wayne Simmonds and Shayne Gostisbehere. Tickets are $100 for an autograph and photograph with these players. Tickets are based on availability (please note, Giroux and Gostisbehere are sold out). The remaining twenty one (21) players will be available for autograph sessions throughout the event. Autograph sessions are on sale now at and are $20 per player. Photograph sessions will be available the day of the event and can be purchased at the specific player location.

3. Mystery Bags

Mystery bags will be sold at three (3) different locations during the Carnival; the Broad Street Atrium, the 11th Street Atrium and on the player bench on the floor. Mystery bags are also available for presale online at Adult mystery bags will include a black duffle bag (sweatshirt material) and a collapsible food container. Child mystery bags will include an orange duffle bag (sweatshirt material) and a lunch tote. With the purchase of any mystery bag you will have the chance to win an additional "mystery item" like; a signed puck, a signed stick, tickets, coupons and more! Bags are $25 each.

4. Ferris Wheel & Carousel

What's a Carnival without rides? Take a spin on our 60ft Carousel on the Wells Fargo floor and ride around our Carousel at center ice! Each ride is $10 and who knows maybe you might even spot a player riding too!

5. Shot on Goal

Take a shot on goal just like the Flyers! Have you ever wondered what it's like to stand on the same ice the Flyers play on? Now is your chance! For $25 you can take a shot on goal. This attraction is also available for presale at

6. Games and more Games! Play Tailgate and Carnival Games

Take on our players in fun tailgate themed games on our Mezzanine level. Try your luck playing Ladder Ball, Washers and Cornhole. Tailgate games cost $20 to play against one of our Flyers and get his autograph.

Carnival games will be located all over our Main Concourse and Floor level. All games will have fun Carnival and Flyers prizes. Game are $5 to play!

7. NEW THIS YEAR - Take your Picture with NHL Trophies the Flyers have won over the years!

For the first time at the Flyers Wives Carnival, you can take your picture with five (5) NHL trophies.

  • Hart Trophy - Awarded annually to the "player judged most valuable to his team" in the National Hockey League (NHL). Awarded to; Bob Clarke (1972-1973, 1974-1975, 1975-1976) and Eric Lindros (1994-1995)
  • Vezina Trophy - awarded annually to the goaltender who is "judged to be the best at this position (NHL). Awarded to; Bernie Parent (1973-1974 & 1974-1975), Pelle Lindbergh (1984-1985) and Ron Hextall (1986-1987)
  • Masterton Trophy - awarded annually to the player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to ice hockey (NHL). Awarded to; Bob Clarke (1971-1972), Tim Kerr (1988-1989) and Ian Laperriere (2010-2011)
  • Campbell Trophy - is a trophy awarded to the Western Conference (formally the Campbell Conference) playoff champions (NHL). Awarded in; 1967-1968, 1973-1974, 1974-1975, 1975-1976, 1976-1977 and 1979-1980
  • Prince of Wales Trophy­ - is a trophy awarded to the Eastern Conference (formerly the Wales Conference) playoff champions (NHL). Awarded in; 1986-1987, 1996-1997 and 2009-2010
