1. FLYERS ON A ROLL

The Flyers come into today's game having won four of their last five games… They have gone perfect on the penalty kill in all four victories, killing off all nine attempts and going 14-for-16 in the five-game span… They have won 11 of their last 14 games at home, going 11-2-1 since Nov. 27… The Flyers have also gone unbeaten in regulation in their last eight home games against the Western Conference, going 7-0-1, while owning an overall home mark of 7-2-1.

The Kings come into today riding a four-game winning streak where they have outscored their opponent, 14-3, with goaltender Peter Budaj earning all four victories posting a 0.75 GAA and .970 save percentage, while defenseman Drew Doughty is on a six-game point streak, recording seven points (1g-6a) in that span… Former Flyer, Jeff Carter, ranks second among all NHL players with 26 goals, and also leads the Kings in overall scoring with 46 points.

3. HEAD TO HEAD

The Flyers wrap up the season series against the Kings today after earning a 4-2 win in Los Angeles on Oct. 14 in the season opener after they scored all four goals in the second period and fired 21 shots on goal… However, the Flyers have dropped four of their last five games at home to the Kings, going 1-2-2, but own an all-time winning percentage of .686 at home against Los Angeles with a 43-17-7-3 record.
