1. QUICK TURNAROUND

The Flyers get back to action, playing less than 24 hours after earning a 4-2 win at LA on Friday… This is the first time since the 2009-10 season that the Flyers opened the season with back-to-back games on the road… The Flyers went 6-7-3 last season in the second of games on back-to-back nights… The Coyotes will open their season tonight on home ice, where they have gone 7-2-0 in nine season opening games in Arizona, but then head out on a six game road trip where they will end in Philadelphia to wrap up the season series with the Flyers.

2. NOT KIDDING AROUND

Tonight's game features five players in their teens… The Flyers have two players: Travis Konecny & Ivan Provorov (19) who both made their NHL debut on Friday, while Arizona has three players: Jakob Chychrun, Dylan Strome & Lawson Crouse - all three will make their NHL debut… The last NHL game to feature at least five teenagers was… Nov. 8, 2013 between Buffalo (4 players) and Anaheim (1 player).

3. SPECIAL FORCES

The Flyers went a perfect 2-for-2 on the penalty kill in Friday's opener… Combined with the preseason, the Flyers only allowed two power play goals in 33 shorthanded situations (93.9 percent)… The Coyotes had the second best power-play unit in the preseason, going 7-for-25 and 28 percent.

4. DON'T I KNOW YOU?

This season is the first time since the Coyotes relocated to Arizona that the Flyers have faced them four times in the same calendar year… The game also features many familiar faces - Ryan White and Luke Schenn will make their Coyotes debut after spending time with the Flyers, while Boyd Gordon returns to Arizona where he spent parts of three years… Coyotes defenseman Connor Murphy is the son of Flyers assistant coach and former Flyers defenseman Gord Murphy.

5. PLAYERS TO WATCH:

FLYERS (C: #14 - Sean Couturier)

Is coming off a two-goal performance in the season opening game on a line with Jakub Voracek and Travis Konecny … Last season, before going down to injury, Couturier posted career high in points (39) having played 19 fewer games… He has recorded at least a point in 13 of his last 18 regular season games, and has played the second-most games of any player in his 2011 Draft Class (350).

COYOTES (C: #16 - Max Domi)

Domi finished his rookie season last year third among all rookies, and second overall on the Coyotes, in scoring with 52 points (18g-34a) in 81 games… he has also recorded 17 points (5g-12a) in his last 16 games on home ice… he recorded one assist in his first two career games against the Flyers.

TODAY AT 50

On October 15, 1978, Bob Clarke hit the 800-point mark with two assists in a 3-2 loss to the defending Stanley Cup champion Montreal Canadiens at the Spectrum. At the time, he was just the 23rd player in NHL history to reach the mark.
