1. SITUATIONAL PLAY
The Flyers head out for their final road trip of the season when they travel to the nation's capital after two days off of game action... They are looking to rebound after a loss on Tuesday and have earned points in five of seven games this season with a two-day break in between games (3-2-2)... They face a Capitals team who is fighting for 1st place in the East and are two points behind Pittsburgh but have two games in-hand... The Caps have earned points in 10 of their last 13 games (9-3-1), but three of those losses have come on home ice, including their last two games at Capital One Arena.

2. AGAINST EACH OTHER
The Flyers and Caps wrap up their season series with a two-game set on back-to-back nights... After winning the first game of the series on Feb. 7, the Flyers have dropped five straight to Washington... It's the first time since Feb. 10-Dec. 5, 1991 the Flyers have lost five straight in regulation to Washington, but they have never lost six in-a-row, in any fashion, to the Caps in their history... The Caps have operated at 50 percent on their power play against the Flyers, going 7-for-14.

3. FINAL FRAME FRENZY
The Flyers are 6th in the NHL with 60 third-period goals and have scored at least one goal in the third period in six straight games with 11 goals in that stretch, but have also allowed goals in the third period in eight straight games... The Caps have given up goals in the third period in just two of their last seven games, allowing just three third-period goals in that span... Over the last two seasons, the Flyers (147 goals) are 2nd in the NHL, while the Caps (144 goals) are T-3rd in the NHL for third-period goals.
4. ME, YOU AND A DEBUT
ME: The Flyers are 3rd in the NHL in face-off win percentage at 53.9% - they are looking to finish in the Top 5 of face-off win percentage for the fifth straight year (since 2016-17)... YOU: The Caps have the NHL's best power play on home ice, operating at 33.3%, but have only scored once on the man advantage in their last four home games (1-for-9)... A DEBUT: Cam York will make his NHL debut tonight, marking the sixth Flyer, and second defenseman, to make their NHL debut with the Flyers this season and fourth since Apr. 3... York is also set to become the first Flyer born in 2001 to play in the NHL and fifth defensemen from the 2019 Draft Class to make their debut.

5. PLAYERS TO WATCH
FLYERS (C: #14 - Sean Couturier)
Couturier has points in two straight and seven of his last eight games (3g-4a) and 10 of his 16 goals this season have come on the road... He leads the Flyers in scoring against the Caps with seven points (3g-4a) in six games and the only game he has been held without a point against the Caps this season was the last meeting (Apr. 17).

CAPITALS (RW: #8 - Alex Ovechkin)
Ovechkin has the most goals (8) and points (12) against the Flyers than any other team he has faced this season... He has scored at least one goal in each of the six meetings this season, including a power-play goal in three straight games... Ovechkin has not recorded a point in his last three games - his longest drought of the season.
