CAPITALS (C: #19 - Nicklas Backstrom)
Backstrom averages an assist per-game and leads the Caps with 11 points (3g-8a) during the eight-game winning streak… He is currently on a five-game point streak (3g-7a)… Backstrom has 682 career points and is playing in his 695th NHL game today - he will be honored by the Caps in a pre-game ceremony for becoming the first player in franchise history with 500 career assists.
