5pm CT - All-Star Game Underway

Giroux and the Metropolitan Division fall to the Atlantic Division in the first semifinal game, 4-3. That'll do it for Giroux in Nashville. The Flyers will be back at it on Tuesday at the Wells Fargo Center vs. the Montreal Canadiens.

3pm CT - Getting Ready to Play

1pm CT - New All-Star Game Format

As a result of the Eastern conference winning the skills competition last night, Giroux and the Metropolitan Division will play the Atlantic Division for the first semifinal game tonight. The winning division will face the winners of the second semifinal game in the championship game.

 4pm CT - Hitting The Red Carpet

 2pm CT - Prepping for the Skills Competition

At 7pm ET the Skills Competition will kick off. Claude Giroux will be participating in three of the six events. Giroux will take part in the DraftKings NHL Accuracy Shooting contest, the Gatorade NHL Skills Challenge Relay as the stick handling portion, and the third round of the Discover NHL Shootout. See an explanation of each event below.
For Team Foligno in the 2015 Competition in Columbus, Giroux participated in the Breakaway Challenge, which based off of his performance, was voted on by hockey fans via social network’s. He garnered 18.4 percent of the vote, the second-most, only behind home-town favorite Ryan Johanson.

Giroux wasn’t as successful in the NHL shootout relay competition, failing to score on his only attempt on Montreal netminder Carey Price.

10am CT - Media Day Begins

NHL All-Star weekend kicks off with Giroux making the rounds at media day. Talking to a variety of press as well as participating in some fun activities.

12pm ET -  Skills Competition Assignments Announced

Captains of the Eastern Conference Jaromir Jagr and John Tavares finalized the team’s assignments for Saturday night’s Skills Competition. Claude Giroux will be participating in three of the six events. Giroux will take part in the DraftKings NHL Accuracy Shooting contest along with Tavares, Patrice Bergeron of the Bruins and Evgeni Malkin of the Penguins. Next, he will make up part of the first heat for the Gatorade NHL Skills Challenge Relay as the stick handling portion. Finally, Giroux will lead off the third round of the Discover NHL Shootout.
