Single-game tickets for the Philadelphia Flyers’ 2014-15 season will go on sale to the public on Thursday, September 18 at 11 a.m. online at PhiladelphiaFlyers.com, by phone at (215) 218-PUCK or in-person at the Wells Fargo Center Box Office.
The 2014-15 season will feature several historic moments for the Flyers, as well as many great giveaways throughout the season. In addition to the previously announced Flyers Hall of Fame inductions of Eric Lindros and John LeClair on November 20 vs. Minnesota and Eric Desjardins on February 19 vs. Buffalo, the Flyers will also recognize former Flyer Peter Forsberg on December 16 vs. Tampa Bay following his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame this November.
Giveaways for all fans include Toyota schedule magnets on KIA opening night October 9 vs. New Jersey, a “Hockey Fights Cancer” giveaway on October 14 vs. Anaheim and a team poster giveaway on Fan Appreciation Night on April 7 vs. New York Islanders. Kids themed giveaways for fans 14 and under include game dates on December 13 vs. Carolina and March 28 vs. San Jose when the Flyers will celebrate “Kids Day.”
Staples of the Flyers promotional calendar include two Dietz and Watson Dollar Dog Nights (November 6 vs. Florida and January 12 vs. Tampa Bay), two SUPERPRETZEL Dollar Pretzel Nights (December 16 vs. Tampa Bay and March 10 vs. Dallas), Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night on February 21 vs. Nashville and Fan Appreciation Night on April 7 vs. the New York Islanders.
Fans can get a jump on reserving tickets ahead of the September 18 public on sale by purchasing a three-game mini plan now. Mini plans include the choice of a premier game against three of the Flyers’ biggest rivals – the New York Rangers, Boston or Pittsburgh – plus the choice of two early season matchups in October, November or December. Mini plans start at $200.
Continuing a tradition of honoring worthy causes and those who make a difference in the Greater Philadelphia Region, the Flyers will host a dozen awareness nights during the 2014-15 season highlighted by Hockey Fights Cancer Night on October 14 vs. Anaheim, “Toyota Military Appreciation Night” on November 6 vs. Florida, among others. Game details will be released closer to the date of each game. Additionally, the Flyers will wear a camouflage jersey during warm-ups on Military Appreciation Night, which is November 6 vs. Florida.
The team will also wear a third jersey for select home games to be announced.
