2013 Flyers Cup Overview

34th Annual Flyers Cup Scholastic Championships

What: The 34th Flyers Cup Scholastic Championships, an annual championship tournament for Philadelphia-area high school hockey teams. Winners of the Flyers Cup will meet the winners of Western Pennsylvania’s Penguins Cup for the Pennsylvania State Championship on Saturday, March 23 at Ice Works in Aston, PA.

Who: The top 55 high school hockey teams from throughout the Greater Philadelphia region, separated into four tiers (AAA, AA, A, and Girls).
Participating leagues include the Inter-County Scholastic Hockey League (ICSHL), Suburban High School Hockey League (SHSHL), South Jersey High School Ice Hockey League (SJHSIHL), Central Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (CPIHL), and the Lehigh Valley Scholastic Hockey League (LVSHL)

When: Preliminary-round games begin on Monday, March 4, with the Championship games taking place on the following dates:
AAA Final* – Tuesday, March 12 @ 7:00 pm (Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia)
AA Final – Tuesday, March 19 @ 7:30 pm (Warwick Ice Arena, Warminster, PA)
A Final – Monday, March 18 @ 6:30 pm (Ice Line, West Chester, PA)
Girls Final – Monday, March 20 @ 8:15 pm (Ice Line, West Chester, PA)
