CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames have announced that defenceman Dennis Wideman will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 regular season with a tricep injury.
He left last Wednesday's game against Winnipeg after a collision behind the Jets net in the first period. He logged just 4:31 of ice time before sustaining the injury.
Wideman will be limited to 51 games this season due to injury and his suspension for making contact with linesman Don Henderson, which occurred during the second period of a game against the Nashville Predators on Jan. 27.
In those 51 outings, Wideman scored two goals and 19 points.
