The Flames could have two prospects suiting up for Finland at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship.
Defenceman Juuso Valimaki, who was tabbed as Finland's captain for the tournament earlier this year, and forward Eetu Tuulola have been named to their country's preliminary 28-man roster. This year's tournament will run from Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in Buffalo, N.Y.

Valimaki is in the midst of his third season with the Tri-City Americans in the Western Hockey League. In 16 skates, the defenceman has five goals and 17 points. He was the Flames' first round selection in the 2017 NHL Draft, going 16th overall.
Tuulola opted to turn pro this season, leaving the Everett Silvertips in the WHL for HPK in Finland's Liiga league. The winger has eight goals and nine points in 25 games this year. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
