Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames Better Halves and Scotiabank are proud to announce the fourth annual Flames Better Halves Ultimate Ladies Night Out Presented by Scotiabank raised over $85,000 for the Flames Foundation for Life.
The sold out fundraiser took place on March 16th at Flames Central where over 600 women gathered for an evening full of giveaways. Event highlights included: a fashion show featuring the Flames Better Halves, players’ significant others, as models, giveaways all evening and the chance to bid on baskets filled with “favourite things” courtesy of Flames players and their Better Halves.
“On behalf of the Calgary Flames Better Halves we would like to thank all of you for making this night a success year after year. This night allows us to put our faces out there for the fans to see in an effort to raise money for the Flames Foundation for Life,” said Reagan Sarich. “We get to interact with some wonderful women in this great city and contribute to this great cause. Calgary has been an amazing city to live in. Thank you for your kindness and generosity at this event and throughout our time here, it means the world to us.”
Raffle prizes included a $10,000 diamond pendant from Jewels by Maxime’s, a trip for two from Air Canada and a Personal Financial Plan developed and customized by Scotia Private Client Group along with over $7,500 in giveaways from the CORE - TD Square all evening.
The Flames Foundation for Life, the charitable arm of the Flames Hockey Club, continues to touch the lives of thousands of people through its commitment to education, medical research, health, amateur sports and recreation.
