Games at the 2017 World Junior Summer Showcase kicked off on Saturday and four Flames prospects were in action on the opening day.

Defenceman Juuso Valimaki, forward Eetu Tuulola and Finland fell 4-2 to USA White in the opening game. Valimaki, the 16th overall selection in the 2017 NHL Draft, led all skaters with seven shots. Tuulola, Calgary's sixth round selection in 2016, had one shot in the loss.
Forward Linus Lindstrom and Sweden edged defenceman Adam Fox and USA Blue 4-3 in Saturday's final game. Lindstrom, the Flames' fourth round pick in 2016, picked up the primary assist on Sweden's first goal. Fox, Calgary's third round pick in 2016, also picked up an assist.
On Sunday, Fox and USA Blue will face Valimaki, Tuulola and Finland. A full schedule can be found
