Michael Stone - along with his wife Michelle and their twins Jolie and Wyatt - put pen to paper on his new deal along with Flames GM Brad Treliving.

The Flames announced today that they have signed defenceman Michael Stone to a three year agreement.
Stone was acquired by the Flames on February 20, 2017 from Arizona and played 19 games down the stretch recording two goals and four assist for six points. In the playoffs, Stone scored once in the Flames four game series with the Anaheim Ducks. Originally a third round pick (69th overall) by the Coyotes in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, he played 45 games for Arizona last season and registered nine points. The 26-year-old spent four seasons with the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL, before starting his NHL career where he has played 324 games for the Coyotes and recorded 96 points (24G, 72A) and 190 PIMs.
