On Friday, the world lost a legend in hockey when Gordie Howie passed away at the age of 88. The hockey community mourned the loss and shared their condolences on social media when the news broke.

Was fortunate enough to meet the legend. Rest easy Mr. Hockey #RIP9

Brandon Bollig recently adopted a kitten from the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago!

Considering getting a pet? The Calgary area has plenty of shelters with animals to adopt, like AARCS or the Calgary Humane Society!

Congratulations @bollig87 on the adoption of your kitten over the weekend!

Making the most out of a layover on a vacation!

Not too bad with a long layover in Dubai after a couple of days with rain on the Seychelles!

The Flames Foundation proudly supports the motionball: Marathon Of Sport, which is a fundraising event for Special Olympics. In addition to sponsoring floor hockey, the Flames also enter a team to compete and raise funds.

This year, Brian Burke also stopped by! He spoke at lunch, emphasizing the need for Special Olympics, and took in some of the events!
