BILL PETERS ON LINEUP TO FACE EDMONTON:
"Guys that are a little bit banged up with anything will sit. Guys that are a little bit under the weather will sit. But I think everybody's close which is why we'll wait until tomorrow because things can turn with the health. I'd like them to play, if guys are able to play but we've got to be smart about the decisions we make."

JOHNNY GAUDREAU ON PLAYING AFTER HAVING CLINCHED:
"We've had guys getting rest, guys out of the lineup, guys getting called up so it's a bit different week. But we've got three, four or five days before our first playoff game so we've got a lot of time to get prepared."
Video: "I'm just looking forward to the last game"
MARK GIORDANO ON SEIZING THE PLAYOFF MOMENT:
"I remember when I was younger, guys were always saying to me: 'It's hard.' You're young, you're establishing yourself in the league but it does fly by. You only get so many cracks it. So it's an important message."
Video: "We believe that we have a great team in here."
STANLEY CUP-WINNER MICHAEL FROLIK ON BELIEF:
"I remember from our run (in Chicago) the message was belief, that we can go all the way. Easier to say than to do. I remember going down in the series 3-1 against Detroit but in the room we said: 'Guys, we can do it. We can turn this thing around.' That was the spirit, the belief. Belief is huge."
PETERS ON HIS TEAM'S RECENT FORM:
"I love where we're at defensively. I think we're ninth in the National Hockey League, a Top 10 team in goals against so I think our goaltending and team defence has come a long way from where we were."
MIKE SMITH ON THE NEARNESS OF PLAYOFFS:
"I'm excited about where my game's at, about maybe getting a chance to play in the playoffs again. Everyone wants to elevate their game at this time of year even more. What's done is done. We have a game (Saturday) to try and prep ourselves for playoffs. You want to go into the playoffs playing your best hockey and I feel like that's the case right now."
