CALGARY, AB -- Preparations for this summer’s Flames/Hitmen Hockey School presented by Okanagan Hockey School are well under way with registration almost sold out. The hockey school has officially launched, and is currently accepting registrations for the summer of 2012 throughout five weeklong sessions, beginning July 15th. The Flames and Hitmen will once again offer their summer hockey camps in partnership with the Okanagan Hockey School, who is entering its 50th year of operation, bringing with them a wealth of experience and expertise in top quality hockey instruction.
With new camps added this year, there is something for every player between the ages of five and 14. Whether you are just starting out in your playing career or a player looking for that extra edge heading into next season, the school is sure to have a program that meets your needs. The hockey school is unique and elite. With a special appearance by a Flames or Hitmen player each week to meet and sign autographs with participants, the camp offers exclusive opportunities and lasting memories. Another exciting feature is the popular defenceman camp led by former Flames defenceman, Rhett Warrener, which covers all the aspects and skills required to become an elite defenceman in today’s game.
Parents are encouraged to register their player early for the program of their choice, as space is limited. For more information visit www.hockeyschools.com/calgary or register by calling the Okanagan Hockey Academy toll free at: 1.888.844.6611 extension 3354.
