Along with Charlie Simmer, Ron Stern and Cassie Campbell the team will compete for highest sales in the charity cook off for the Ronald McDonald House.Date:

Four groups of Calgary’s sports and media celebrities will be teamed up with a Main Dish Chef to create their own unique burger.
While utilizing their cooking and selling skills they will aim to win over a panel of judges and be the team to sell the most burgers. Burgers will be sold for $5 each with all proceeds going towards Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta.
The team that sells the most burgers and receives the best judging score will be declared the winner.
This years celebrities also include Olympic Athletes; Kaillie Humphries (2010 Bobsleigh Gold Medalist), Mellisa Hollingsworth (2010 Skeleton World Champion), Jeremy Wotherspoon (Speed skating Champion), Steve Mesler (2010 Bobsleigh Gold Medalist), and Regan Lauscher (Canadian Luge Champion). As well as Randy Chevrier and Sheldon Napastiuk (Calgary Stampeders & FAN 960’s Chevy & Nasty Show) and members of the Calgary Vipers.
The Ronald McDonald House is a partner of the Calgary Flames charitable arm; the Flames Foundation for Life. One of four pillars of the Flames Foundation for Life includes Rotary/Flames Park – a two acre oasis that includes a tots’ playground, team play area and quiet garden retreats surrounds the Ronald McDonald House. The house is a compassionate, safe and affordable home-away-from-home for out-of-town families whose children are in treatment at a Calgary hospital.
The Flames continue to support this important partner through player appearances at the house and as an avid participant in many of their fundraising events including the Cassie Campbell Street Hockey Tournament, the Main Dish Celebrity Cook Off and regular season cooking events at the house with players and their families.
