After going through the disappointment over being cut from Team Canada, Calgary Flames prospect Morgan Klimchuk rebounded with two big games for the Regina Pats.
On Dec. 16, Klimchuk scored one goal and three points in Regina's 6-5 overtime victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings. He was named the game's second star for his efforts.
The next night, the Calgary, AB product was once again named second star for his strong effort in Regina's 5-4 overtime loss to the Lethbridge Hurricanes. He picked up one assist in the setback.
Klimchuk now has 25 points through 23 dates this season and is averaging 1.09 points-per-game. He is a plus-12 on the year.
The Flames selected Klimchuk in the first round (28th overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft.
