There was no holiday rust in Andrew Mangiapane's game following the Christmas break.
The Calgary Flames' 2015 sixth round pick notched nine points in four games last week, pushing him to 44 points in 28 skates in the 2015-16 campaign.
Mangiapane is averaging 1.57 points-per-game this year and despite missing eight games due to a suspension last month, he sits 17th in Ontario Hockey League scoring.
He was held off the scoresheet on Dec. 28 when the Colts edged the Niagara IceDogs 5-4 but netted his 17th goal of the year on Dec. 31 when Barrie collected a 6-3 win over the Sudbury Wolves.
In the Colts first game in 2016, Mangiapane rattled off one goal and six points in a 12-2 rout over the North Bay Battalion. He scored the Colts' 10th goal of the night, had five assists, and was the second star of the game.
He capped off the week with two assists and three shots on net in Barries' 5-3 loss to North Bay on Sunday.
