DENVER -The kid is in.
Following the morning skate at the Pepsi Center, head coach Bill Peters confirmed 20-year-old Juuso Valimaki will make his NHL playoff debut this evening in Game 4. The Finn will be paired up with fellow rookie Rasmus Andersson.
Valimaki skated in 22 games with the Flames to start the season before going down with a lower-body injury. After a stint in Stockton, he was recalled by Calgary and played in their final two games of the regular season. In his 24 appearances this season, he has one goal and three points.
