CALGARY -The Flames are expected to run with the lineup they used in Game 1 when they host the Colorado Avalanche tonight at 8:30 p.m. MT.
Mike Smith is coming off a sensational performance on Thursday, stopping all 26 shots he faced in the 4-0 victory and earning plenty of "Smitty" chants throughout the evening.
"At this time of year, you want to be at your best, feel like you're contributing. I wanted this to be one of my biggest games of the year," he said after the win.
"Honestly, I haven't quite heard anything like that before in my career and it gives you some confidence, obviously, when you're hearing your name get chanted. I haven't quite experienced what I experienced (on Thursday) in my 13 years in this league."
