PROJECTED LINEUP - FLAMES VS. RED WINGS

Calgary's projected lines, pairings and starting goalie

by TORIE PETERSON @ToriePeterson / CalgaryFlames.com

CALGARY - The Flames will make a slight tweak up front this evening when they take on the Detroit Red Wings.

Sam Bennett is expected to flank Derek Ryan and Andrew Mangiapane while Milan Lucic is set to skate alongside Mark Jankowski and Austin Czarnik.

"I think that line will be real good," head coach Bill Peters said of the Jankowski, Lucic, and Czarnik trio. "I think we're having close to all four lines going. That will the challenge here, to get everybody going and hopefully play a lot of five-on-five hockey."

Mikael Backlund, who did not skate on Wednesday, was a full participant in this morning's skate. He blocked a shot late in Tuesday's win over the Flyers but will be able to play this evening.

"Maintenance day yesterday, he'll be in the lineup today," Peters confirmed. "Dodged a bullet there so we're fortunate."
