RALEIGH - Head coach Bill Peters has confirmed the Flames will make a couple of line changes tonight against the Hurricanes.
Alan Quine, recalled this past weekend, will slide up to skate alongside Sean Monahan and Sam Bennett.
"He's played with good players lots in the past," Peters said of Quine. "He'll play with good players again tonight. He's a good two-way guy. He can do a little bit of everything offensively and that's what we need. We need all four lines chipping in and playing the right way."
With the Quine shift, Andrew Mangiapane will move to a line with Derek Ryan and Tobias Rieder. The coaching staff has liked how Mangipane and Ryan have played together and feel the change will benefit both of them.
"They took off a little bit in the second half of last year, played lots together," Peters noted. "There's some familiarity and they're confident in each other, they can anticipate where each other are going to be so at this stage of the year, we need anything we can grasp on to."
