PHILADELPHIA - Today marks a rare matinee game for the Flames.
Looking to break out of their current funk, the team skated Friday afternoon in St. Louis but obviously will not have a morning skate before facing the Flyers at 1 p.m. local time (11 a.m. MTN).
Andrew Mangiapane took a hard hit in a 5-0 loss to the Blues Thursday night but head coach Bill Peters said he'll likely be good to go in Philly.
He will get a further medical update before that decision is made.
"He's a tough kid," said Peters Friday. "He said he feels good. He had no problems. We'll see."
GM Brad Treliving announced yesterday that defenceman TJ Brodie will join the team on this trip but is not expected to play.
