WASHINGTON - Cam Talbot will get the nod in net against the Capitals this evening.
The 32-year-old has started three games this season, posting a 1-2-0 record with a 2.46 GAA and a .905 save percentage. His last start came against the Capitals on Oct. 22 at the Scotiabank Saddledome, when he stopped 25 of 29 shots.
The Flames did not skate in Washington as they are heading into the second game of a back-to-back so today's projected lines and pairings are based off of Saturday's combinations and adding Tobias Rieder into the lineup:
FORWARDS
Johnny Gaudreau - Sean Monahan - Elias Lindholm
Matthew Tkachuk - Mikael Backlund - Michael Frolik
Andrew Mangiapane - Derek Ryan - Sam Bennett
Tobias Rieder - Mark Jankowski - Alan Quine
DEFENCE
Mark Giordano - TJ Brodie
Noah Hanifin - Travis Hamonic
Oliver Kylington - Rasmus Andersson
GOALTENDER
Cam Talbot
The Flames return to the Scotiabank Saddledome on Nov. 5, hosting the Arizona Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. MT. Limited tickets are available HERE.
