BOSTON - It's a first look at a new guys.

And, if all goes to plan, a fresh, rejuvenated captain as well.

Derek Forbort and Erik Gustafsson will make their Calgary debuts tonight, while Mark Giordano is a game-time decision as the Flames continue a season-long, five-game road trip in Boston.

Forbort - who took the red-eye from all the way on the west coast - arrived first thing this morning, while Gustafsson made landfall at 10 p.m. local last night.

The two will be paired together, and Gustafsson will be thrust into the spotlight, quarterbacking the top powerplay unit.

"There are a couple different things as far as systems go, but I only played 12 games with the new coach in LA," Forbert said. "We were playing a 1-3-1, here it's a 2-1-2 or something, so it shouldn't be hard to get back to that."

Giordano, meanwhile, has been out since Feb. 6 with a hamstring injury, and had six points in his last five games before going down.

David Rittich will get the start for the 45th time this season - tying a career high - as he looks to improve on a 23-15-5 record, a .908 save percentage and a 2.91 goals-against average.
