LIGHTNING (19-16-4) at FLAMES (18-18-2)
TV: SUN, SN-W (7:00 PM MT)
Season series: Steven Stamkos scored the go-ahead goal with 7:09 remaining to help the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 3-1 win against the Calgary Flames at Amalie Arena on Nov. 12. Lightning goalie Ben Bishop made 30 saves. Sam Bennett scored for the Flames.
Lightning team scope: Tampa Bay, which is 2-1-1 in its past four games, opens a four-game road trip at Scotiabank Saddledome. The Lightning practiced in Calgary on Monday with the same lines they used in a 3-2 shootout win against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday. "We've finally got all your guys back, we've kept our heads above water," coach Jon Cooper said Monday. "Our team is thinking, 'OK … how are we going to make a run?' To be honest, that's what we think about." Bishop could get the start, which would be his first since last Wednesday; Andrei Vasilevskiy made 30 saves Saturday.
Flames team scope: Calgary forward Jiri Hudler did not practice Monday and will not play against the Lightning because of a lower-body injury. Hudler was limited to 5:26 of ice time in the Flames' 4-0 win at the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. "I think as a group we've done a good job of stepping up and it's an opportunity for someone else," captain Mark Giordano told the Flames website Monday. "Obviously you don't want to see guys go down and guys who are top producers on our team, but I think it opens the door for someone else." With Hudler unavailable, forward Mason Raymond, a healthy scratch the past three games, is expected to play and skate on a line with Bennett and Markus Granlund. Goalie Karri Ramo is expected to start after a 26-save shutout Saturday.
