SEASON SERIES:The Flames are 0-2-1 in this year's edition of the Battle Of Alberta, most recently coming off of a 2-1 shootout setback to the Oilers last Saturday. Sean Monahan scored Calgary's lone goal while Brian Elliott made 26 saves on 27 shots in the loss. Tonight's game is the final match-up between the provincial rivals in the 2016-17 campaign.

OILERS' TEAM SCOPE:The Oilers are coming off of a 3-2 shootout loss to the Nashville Predators on Friday. Matt Hendricks and Milan Lucic found the back of the net and Cam Talbot made 42 saves in the loss. The Oilers remain in third place in the Pacific Division with 58 points while the Predators bumped the Flames into the second Wildcard spot in the West after last night's contest. Captain Connor McDavid leads the team in scoring with 15 goals and 55 points in 48 games. Leon Draisaitl (17 goals, 41 points) and Milan Lucic (11 goals, 28 points) round out the top three in scoring in Edmonton.
FLAMES' TEAM SCOPE: The Flames are looking to rebound from their 4-3 loss to the Predators on Thursday. Monahan, Kris Versteeg and Michael Frolik scored in the setback, which saw Calgary put all three goals behind Juuse Saros in the final five minutes of regulation. With 51 points on the year, the Flames are tied with the Predators but hold the second Wildcard position due to games in hand. Sam Bennett, who was a healthy scratch on Thursday, is expecting draw back into the lineup this evening.
