WANT TO WIN SOME CASH?!

The Flames continue their preseason schedule tonight when they host the expansion Seattle Kraken for the first time.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m. MT and if you can't make it to the game, we will be streaming it live right here on CalgaryFlames.com and the Flames app beginning at 6:45.

PRO TIP

For the best possible viewing experience, we recommend using your smart TV or third-party device (ie. Apple TV, PlayStation/Xbox) to run the Flames/NHL app. Navigate to the 'Video' section of the app about 15 minutes before puck drop and you'll see a link for the live stream.
Your phone/tablet is another good option and offers higher resolution than the desktop player.
If you are watching on desktop, **bookmark this link** for later.

LAST TIME OUT

The Flames dropped a 4-2 decision to the Vancouver Canucks on Monday in Abbotsford, B.C. Dillon Dube and Connor Mackey supplied the offence, while Adam Werner and Dan Vladar split the goaltending duties.
Werner started the game and finished with 12 saves on 15 shots, while Vladar stopped all but one of the 15 tries he faced.
"I thought our compete was really good," said Dube, who auditioned at centre and a strong showing between Andrew Mangiapane and Brett Ritchie. "Just some small things that crept up on us and they were able capitalize, but it was a really good effort by all the guys out there. I thought every guy battled and we had a chance to get it tied in the third and it slipped away, but definitely a step up from the first game.
"I think guys were really engaged. Guys who played the night before played well with that back-to-back and the new guys that came in, I thought stepped up. ... Once the pace got going, I thought it was a better hockey game."

KNOW YOUR ENEMY

The Kraken are coming off a 6-0 loss to the Oilers last night in the Alberta capital. Connor McDavid led the way with a three-point effort (1G, 2A), while five others had multi-point outings.
Chris Driedger allowed five goals on 23 shots in 40 minutes of work. Joey Daccord tagged in for the third, stopping nine of the 10 shots he faced.
The Kraken are now 1-1 in the preseason after winning their opening contest 5-3 over the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday. Riley Sheahan, Jared McCann, Ryan Donato and Morgan Geekie (2) had the goals for the serpents that night.
Former Flames captain Mark Giordano did not play, but will be in the lineup tonight for the visitors.
