FLAMES (26-24-3) @ DEVILS (21-21-9)

BROADCAST: 5:30 PM MT; Sportsnet West (TV), The FAN 960 (radio)

SEASON SERIES: The Flames and Devils have tangled just once this season, with New Jersey skating to a 2-1 win at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Jan. 13. Sean Monahan scored for the Flames and Chad Johnson had a solid night with 34 saves in the loss. Keith Kinkaid made 31 saves and Kyle Palmieri had a goal and an assist in that game.

DEVILS TEAM SCOPE: The Devils are coming off a 4-3 victory over the Red Wings on Tuesday. They are 2-3 in their last five games and 5-4-1 in their last 10. In his first season in New Jersey, Taylor Hall leads the team in scoring with 11 goals and 32 points.

FLAMES TEAM SCOPE: The Flames have won two straight after dropping their previous four tilts. Johnny Gaudreau was the hero for the Flames in a 3-2 OT win over the Ottawa Senators on Jan. 26 to break out of the losing funk. What did the Flames do for an encore? Only come out after the all-star break and play one of their best games of the season, laying a 5-1 shellacking on the Minnesota Wild Wednesday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
