Matthew Lombardi, a native of Montreal, Quebec, made his NHL debut back in the 2003-04 season, posting 29 points (16g, 13a) including four game-winning goals.
Lombardi played in 13 games during the Flames' run for the Cup, recording four points, before he was sidelined with a concussion he suffered in Game 6 vs. Detroit.
Recently, the 23-year old forward has been on a hot streak, helping the likes of Steve Reinprecht and Chuck Kobasew while the team has been injury stricken.

Pick one word to describe yourself?
Lombardi: Happy (I have a good sense of humour).
If you weren't a hockey player, what would you be doing?
Lombardi: I think something involved in hockey, so maybe coaching or doing something like that.
It's a Saturday night and you're not playing hockey. What would you be doing?
Lombardi: It depends. Sometimes just hanging out, taking it easy, but every once in a while I like to go out with the boys and have a good time.
What's your favourite food?
Lombardi: Definitely Italian.
What's your favourite Calgary Restaurant?
Lombardi: Osteria de Medici Restaurant. I know the people there really well and they take good care of me and my family when I go there. It's just really, really good food.
Who is your favourite band right now?
Lombardi: Well my all time favourite is Smashing Pumpkins. But right now I listen to a lot of System of a Down and Weezer.
What is your favourite television show?
What was the first car you owned?
Lombardi: Pontiac Sunfire, four door. It must have been a '96.
Which pro athlete would you most like to spend time with?
Lombardi: There's a few people, but in terms of hockey, I always dreamed of playing with or meeting Mario Lemieux. He's definitely one of my idols.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Lombardi: Well I haven't been to Italy and I definitely been really itching to go down there and hang and spend a few weeks there, so once I get a chance I'll definitely go there for sure.
You have a few hours to kill. Do you read a book or play a video game?
Lombardi: I'm more into DVD's and things like that. I like watching TV and TV series on DVD's. I'm more into that.
Playstation or X-Box?
Worst job you've ever had?
Lombardi: Mowing lawns in the summertime. That's the worst job I've ever had.
