Muskegon Lumberjacks centre Rem Pitlick's record-setting season earned him Player of the Year and Forward of the Year honours at the United States Hockey League's annual awards.
Pitlick set a new franchise record with 89 points in 56 regular season games, shattering the previous record (64 points) set by Griffin Molino in 2014-15.
The 5-foot-9, 195-pound forward netted a league-leading 46 goals in the 2015-16 campaign and he now sits third all-time in the USHL single-season goal scoring record books. His eight game-winning markers also led the league.
Pitlick, who has 105 points in 103 games in the USHL, is committed to the University of Minnesota following his junior career.
NHL Central Scouting has the Plymouth, MN native sitting 93rd in their final rankings of North American skaters. Pitlick is in his second year of NHL Draft eligibility.
