Flames prospects Jakob Pelletier and Connor Zary have been invited to Hockey Canada's National Junior Team Sport Chek Selection Camp, which will run Nov. 16 through Dec. 13 in Red Deer.
The camp will host 46 players, with five goaltenders, 15 defencemen, and 26 forwards in attendance. It is the final evaluation camp for Hockey Canada ahead of the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship, which will run Dec. 25 through Jan. 5 in Edmonton.
This year's camp will include practices and three intras-quad games, in addition to six games against a team of U SPORTS players, before the team enters the bubble in Edmonton.

Pelletier has started his 2020-21 season in the QMJHL, captaining Val-d'Or. The Flames' 2019 first-round pick has one goal and six points in four games this fall. He is coming off of a strong 2019-20 season with 82 points in 57 games with the Moncton Wildcats.
Zary has not yet started his 2020-21 campaign, with the WHL's scheduled start slated for Jan. 8. Calgary's 2020 first-round selection scored 38 goals and 86 points in 57 games with the Kamloops Blazers in 2019-20.
Canada will kick off the annual tournament on Dc. 26 when they take on Germany at 4:00 p.m. MT. A full 2021 World Junior Championship schedule can be found
