CALGARY - Flames prospect Tyler Parsons has been tabbed as the ECHL's Goaltender of the Week for Dec. 26-29.
The 22-year-old went 2-0-0 during that stretch, recording one shutout, a 1.00 GAA, and a .973 save percentage.
On Dec. 27, he made 34 stops in what would end up being a 3-2 win over Cincinnati. He followed that up with a 38-save shutout in the 4-0 win over Indy on Dec. 28.
Parsons has a 6-2-0 record with Kansas City this year, sporting a 2.49 GAA and a .923 save percentage.

Parsons has appeared in 37 games in the ECHL during his pro career. He has a 18-14-2 record with a 3.00 GAA and a .907 save percentage during his time with Kansas City.
He has appeared in 27 games in the AHL, going 10-12-1 with a 3.85 GAA and a .890 save percentage with the Stockton Heat.
The Flames drafted Parsons in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft, going 54th overall.
